What is The Art Agents?
The Art Agents is a contemporary art agency focused on thoughtful artist representation, curated discovery and meaningful connections between artists and collectors.
Can I purchase artwork directly online?
Yes. Available artworks and editions can be purchased securely through the website. Each product page clearly shows its price, availability and relevant details.
Are all artworks original?
The collection may include original paintings, fine-art prints and editions, resin art, glass work, sculpture and other contemporary media. Each listing will clearly explain whether the work is an original, an edition or another form of artist-approved release.
Can I enquire about an artwork before purchasing?
Absolutely. If you would like more information about a work, its availability, dimensions, materials, edition, delivery or framing where available, please contact us before purchasing.
Do you offer commissioned artwork?
Selected artists may accept commissions depending on their availability and the suitability of the proposed project. Please contact us with details of your enquiry.
How will my artwork be delivered?
Every artwork is carefully packaged and securely dispatched according to its size, materials and delivery requirements. For the current Paul Wakeford collection, UK delivery costs £8.95 on orders below £250 and is free on orders of £250 or more. Collection is not currently available. Delivery arrangements for other artists or specialist works may vary and will be clearly confirmed.
Do you deliver internationally?
International delivery may be available for selected works. International delivery is not charged automatically through the website, so please contact us before purchasing to obtain a quotation and confirm the available options.
How are artists selected?
The Art Agents works selectively with contemporary artists whose work demonstrates a distinct perspective, identity and emotional or creative presence. Representation is developed around the individual artist and the wider context behind their work.
Can artists apply for representation?
Artists interested in representation or collaboration are welcome to contact us with information about their work and practice. All enquiries are considered individually, and submitting work does not guarantee representation. Artists cannot create public vendor accounts or upload artwork directly to the website.
Is The Art Agents an auction platform?
No. The Art Agents focuses on curated artist representation and the professional presentation and sale of contemporary artwork rather than traditional auction-based selling.
Can I return an artwork?
Eligible artwork may be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided it is returned in its original condition. Any exclusions relating to bespoke or commissioned work will be clearly stated. Please read our Refund and Returns Policy for full details before purchasing.
What should I do if my artwork arrives damaged?
Please contact us as soon as possible, ideally within seven days of delivery. Include photographs of the artwork and its packaging where possible so that we can investigate and assist promptly.
Are online payments secure?
Yes. Online payments are processed securely through protected payment providers. The Art Agents does not store customers’ complete card details.
Do you offer gallery or trade accounts?
Yes. Galleries and eligible trade partners can apply for a trade account through our website. Every application is reviewed manually. Approved applicants receive a customer login giving them access to the relevant trade prices and ordering facilities. Applying does not guarantee approval.
